DATES AND LOCATIONS OF CELEBRATIONS
From January 9 to 11, 2025, the historic city of Ouidah will vibrate to the rhythms of Vodun arts, culture and spirituality.
The celebrations will centre on the Door of No Return, with the concert area, the Vodun Days village near the beach and the ephemeral Mami Dan Monastery near the cultural arena, and extend to the historic centre, highlighting emblematic places such as the Esplanade du Fort Francais, the Sacred Forest of Kpassè, the Esplanade du Temple des Pythons and Place Maro.
HOW TO GET THERE
Located approximately 40 km from Cotonou, the historic city of Ouidah is easily accessible for the Vodun Days. Secure parking is provided for those arriving by car, and VTC services offer a flexible option. In addition, a public transport shuttle will run between Cotonou and Ouidah, making it easier for you to reach the event.
THE VODUN DAYS VILLAGE
The Vodun Days village will offer a diverse experience with many different stands highlighting art, fashion, crafts, culture, spirituality and a host of other themes. Visitors will be able to explore a variety of unique creations and discover a wealth of artistic and cultural expressions. Catering areas will also be available to offer a selection of food and drinks, ensuring the comfort of participants right through the festivities. This village will be a true crossroads for discoveries and encounters.

The Vodun Days camp site offers a practical solution that helps you immerse yourself in the event. Located very close to all the activities, it allows participants to enjoy the unique atmosphere of the festivities and create unforgettable memories in an authentic setting.

An ideal gateway to Benin, it offers an ideal connection for international participants in the Vodun Days, allowing a smooth journey to Ouidah, located about 40 km away.
